About Me

David Bell is a wood turner who has been involved in woodworking for nearly 50 years. The craft of woodworking and its lustre began in the basement of the family’s stone farm house, on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Elora, Ontario. David’s interest in working with wood was inspired by his grandfather. David gained a further interest in art based on his mother’s pottery making. Thus began a continuing fascination in becoming a maker and artist.
